Owner: Rita Miskiewicz

Rita has been a stylist since 1974. From 1978 to 1986, she managed Hess's Trimmer Shop in the Coventry Mall. She has trained under Pearl Octavo, who was one of the top stylists in the 1980's. On June 6, 1986, she opened Shear to Please Hair, Skin, and Nail Spa. She specializes in precision cutting, color, and perms. She loves doing special occasion styles.

Rita is certified with the "Look Good, Feel Better" program for women who are undergoing radiation and chemotherapy treatments. She also specializes in wig consultations and fittings for these women, giving them one- on-one, informative, personal attention. 
Rita strives for perfection and is determined to make every one of her clients feel satisfied and special!
Rita and her entire staff are constantly attending continuing educational classes that include all aspects of the hair industry in order to provide their clients with the most up-to-date styles and services.

Manager: Margi Longacre Davidson

Margi has been in the beauty industrysince 1986. She is a graduate of Empire Beauty School. Her career began by working with Rita at Hess’s Trimmer Shop located at the Coventry Mall.  She also trained under Pearl Octavo.  Margi is a licensed cosmetology teacher and has also completed advanced perm and colorist certification programs.  Her specialties include precision cutting, color, perms, and waxing.  
Margi has been working with Rita at Shear to Please since their opening day 1986!  Although dedicated to her job, Margi enjoys her free time biking, walking, and heading to the beach. Margi takes pride in knowing that she continues to add new clients to the long list of satisfied customers that she has accumulated over the years.

Stephanie Wieand

Stephanie has been in the beauty industry for twelve years. She has a strong background in color and as a stylist has trained with Matrix, Chi, Paul Mitchell, Redken and Organic Color Systems. She also enjoys doing Manicures and Pedicures. One of Stephanie’s biggest influences is her mentor Michael Cole, whom she holds in the highest esteem. Stephanie always strives to stay up to date with new trends and techniques in this ever changing profession.

Ashley Kelly

Ashley has been working at Shear to Please since 2011, starting off as a Shampoo Assistant. She graduated from OJR High School in 2012, and later attended Montgomery County Community College, taking business classes, before enrolling at Empire Beauty School. She graduated with both attendance and academic awards, and she is now a licensed cosmetologist in the state of Pennsylvania. She specializes in hair color, hair cutting, waxing, manicures, and pedicures. 

Cesalee Smith

Cesalee is our new Shampoo Assistant, as of August 2017. She is currently attending Boyertown High School and plans to join the Tech School to specialize in Cosmetology and will graduate in 2021. She looks forward to becoming a professional, and caring for all of your hair and nail needs.
